Hello!
Another Irish tune today - Dick Gossip. I have no idea how long I've been playing this tune for, but it was probably one of the earliest tunes I ever played on the wooden flute. It's not too tricky, but some nice grace notes in the B part to be had. I'd call them triplings - coming from a Highland Piping background. I'm aware my flute playing isn't based in Irish music, but is very varied, so expect the unexpected over the next few weeks as we're in Global Lockdown. Don't let these Irish tunes lull you into a false sense of Irish flute security!
😎
